Here's a list of services and resources that you may find helpful:
Baltimore City 311
A very important resource for the city and our neighborhood is 311. Call 311 to report problems that the city should address. When you call 311, the operator will give you a SR number which is a tracking number. If it is an urgent matter, contact the President with the SR number. You can also submit a 311 request online by clicking here.
You can also use 311 to schedule bulk trash pickup and city tree inspections.

Trash
West Arlington trash pick up day is once a week on Thursday.
Recycling
West Arlington recycling day is on Tuesdays on a bi-weekly basis. West Arlington is on Week A of the alternating schedule. If your trash or recycling collection is ever missed, please call 311 or submit a Service Request online.
There are community recycling drop-off sites for residents to use in the week when their recycling collections are not occurring. Each Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. These recycling drop-off sites are listed below.

In addition, there is a Residential Drop-Off Center at the Northwest Transfer Station located at 5030 Reisterstown Road, that is open Monday through Saturday:.

Street Cleaning
Street cleaning is the 1st (odd side) and 2nd (even side) Wednesday of the month. For other services from DPW, call 311.
Police
The Northwestern Police District serves the West Arlington community. Major Kurt Yourkovik and Captain Tarnisha Brown are responsible for the Northwestern Police District. The police department is committed to improving communications with West Arlington, partnering with West Arlington to problem solve, and encourage community building between you and your neighbors in West Arlington. Northwestern District Community Relations Council (CRC)
The CRC meets every fourth Tuesday at 6 pm to discuss public safety issues in the Northwestern Police District with community association presidents in the Northwestern District. Shopping Centers
The closest shopping areas for West Arlington are: Northwest Plaza, Hilltop Shopping Center, Reisterstown Road Plaza, and Mondawmin Mall. The nearby grocery stores are ShopRite of Howard Park, Harvest Fare at Northwest Plaza, and the Giant at Reisterstown Road Plaza.
